It all started when…

I have been a beekeeper here in the Wilmington area since 2018 and have apiaries in both Rocky Point and Castle Hayne. I love learning about these incredible social insects and their importance to us as pollinators. I am a Journeyman Beekeeper, a certification through the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association, and I am always wanting to advance my beekeeping knowledge. I am a firm believer of responsible beekeeping and take the extra time and energy to keep my bees organically and produce small batch wildflower honey. Consuming local honey is both delicious and can reduce the severity of seasonal allergies over time.
